Selecting Items in the Shop

When you add an item into your shopping cart, you are adding the item exactly as shown on the store page: same size, color, clasp, etc.  However, you can customize your piece by writing us a note in the Order Comments field at the bottom of the checkout page.

Rebeca is very picky about her jewelry, and she caters to those who are equally picky!  Therefore, we may contact you directly by email or phone in order to ensure we are crafting your jewelry exactly to your specifications, down to the perfect clasp and the perfect fit.

Metals and Colors

Most items are available in a variety of metals or colors.  See our Colors + Metals gallery for some of the available options. We try to keep all colors in stock, but sometimes we run out of a particular color.  If your chosen color is unavailble, we will contact you. 

Most of the base metal items (aluminum, copper, jewelry brass, bronze) can usually be made in stainless steel, sterling silver, niobium or gold-fill. Additional charges will apply to upgrade to these premium metals. Let us know if you are interested in a quote for upgrading a piece.

Size

By default, bracelets are sized to fit a 7.5" wrist.  This means the bracelet will be ever-so-slightly larger than 7.5" when worn, allowing the user enough room to maneuver the clasp.  Necklaces are often adjustable; the largest possible size for the piece will be included in the product description.

You can request a bracelet or necklace in any other size by letting us know the final length you'd like.  If you are measuring for a bracelet, we suggest using a string to measure around the largest point on your wrist where the bracelet should be (for instance, some folks prefer their bracelets have a lot of movement, whereas others perfer a more snug fit). Then measure the string and send us those measurements.  Due to the nature of chainmaille, we do not recommend sizing your bracelets too large; if the bracelet slides too far down your hand, the rings can be under excess pressure if you bend your wrist at a 90-degree angle.

We reserve the right to charge for labor and materials should you request a piece to be 10% or more longer than what is listed as the default size.

Clasps and other Options

The product photo or description will indicate what type of clasp or earwire is the default for each particular piece.  However, you can request other options.  Most options are free of charge, however fees may apply to some options, including but not limited to: upgrading to sterling or gold earwire; upgrading to a more decorative clasp; requesting a more expensive bead, etc.

 


Paying For Something in the Shop

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, checks, money orders and cash (pickup orders only).  If you are in IL there will be a 9.5% sales tax fee at checkout.  If you are located in a country other than the U.S. or Canada, please contact us at orders@rebecamojica.com to proceed with your order.

Online Shopping

We use PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, as our payment processor, which allows us to accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance. The site is secure. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just notifies us that you've paid and we ship you your items.

Card logos

You can also use our shopping cart system to check out with PayPal, or simply to compute an order that you will complete by phone or with a check.  Please do NOT send your credit card information via email.

Shopping by Phone or Mail

If you would like to purchase something over the phone, call Rebeca Mojica's parent company, Blue Buddha Boutique, at 866.602.7464 to pay for your order using VISA, Mastercard or American Express. (Note that we are not able to process Discover cards over the phone.)  Blue Buddha accepts phone orders Monday through Friday, 10 am - 5 pm CT.  Should you need to speak with Rebeca about your piece, let us know the best time for her to reach you and she will give you a call back.

To shop by mail, complete the first page of checkout, selecting PayPal as a payment option, and click Review Order.  When the page loads, print it and send a check or money order for the total to:

Before submitting an order by mail, we highly recommend contacting us so that we can confirm that we have the requested colors in stock.
